PSNA Annual Summit 2023 – Reignite
Reignite your passion for nursing at PSNA’s Annual Summit on Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square in Lancaster, PA.
Nurse burnout is rampant. Increased administrative burden, demanding productivity metrics, and work-life imbalance were prevalent before COVID, but working the front lines during the pandemic and the significant hardships and exposure to anxiety-provoking circumstances accelerated the many negative repercussions of inadequate support and decreased morale.
This year’s Summit aims to reignite attendees’ passion for nursing. Speakers will discuss protecting your well-being, keeping and spreading a positive mindset, advocating for the nursing industry, and what the future of nursing looks like.

Registration for the PSNA Annual Summit 2023 is now open! Registration includes entrance to the Summit on Friday, September 8, with breakfast, lunch, all-day beverages, and contact hours for all educational content. PSNA Member registration also includes access to our 120th Anniversary Mixer on September 7.

Poster Presentations
All nurses, regardless of experience or specialty, are invited to submit a poster abstract. Is this your first presentation? We’re here to help! PSNA will arrange for mentor guidance and will walk you through the process.

Sponsor PSNA’s 120 Anniversary/pre-Summit mixer held on Thursday, September 7, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. This event will be located at the Southern Market. Sponsorship includes signage at the event, logo on name badges, and admission for 2 to the mixer.
Speakers
Thank you for your interest in speaking at the PSNA Annual Summit. All proposals from potential speakers will be reviewed from now until May 2023. Please note that all sessions are peer-reviewed by the Cabinet on Nursing Practice and Professional Development. Sessions are selected to fit the description of the conference. Successful presenters will be notified by early-June 2023. Any changes to speakers after acceptance of a presentation for the conference must be agreed upon in writing with PSNA.
We seek a wide range of mental health, leadership, future/upcoming opportunities, advocacy, and resiliency information geared toward nurses. Topics can include vicarious resilience training, psychological recovery, nursing in the future, improving morale, destigmatizing mental health, etc.
Sessions must be appropriate, interesting, and customized for nurses. All Summit attendees will watch every session during the event. Anticipated attendance is 100-125 guests. Speakers should have experience presenting at other healthcare events. Sessions that provide concrete takeaways, real case studies, best practices, how-to info, and other actionable items, and are eligible for continuing education contact hours are preferred.
