Join PSNA and your nurse colleagues for our February Coffee & Connect! The hour will begin with a presentation by PSNA Director of Professional Development Kelly Stephens. She will share her “5 Tips to Being a Successful Leader.” Feel free to bring questions for Kelly to answer following the presentation! This is also a great time to meet nursing students or new‐to‐practice nurses and broaden your networking circle. Plus, attendees will receive a PSNA swag bag!

Meet our February Guest Speaker

Kelly Stephens, PSNA Director of Professional Development

Presentation: 5 Tips to Being a Successful Leader

PSNA welcomes PSNA Director of Professional Development Kelly Stephens. Kelly earned an associate’s degree in nursing from HACC, a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Elizabethtown College, and a master’s in nursing with a focus on education from the University of Phoenix.

Kelly started her nursing career in orthopedics and neurology. She has over 20 years of experience in psychiatry, including inpatient, outpatient, community, and long-term care. She is an original member of the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT), Dauphin County, where she helped create and implement care for psychiatric consumers in community settings.

Kelly has 18 years of experience in leadership roles. In addition, she was an adjunct professor for York College, teaching the clinical psychiatric rotation for senior nursing students.
