
Gender identity has been a topic of conversation now more than ever before. In this interactive session participants will learn terminology related to gender identity, hear and share stories of LGBTQ+ individuals, and discuss how these topics relate to patient care. Attendees will receive 1.0 contact hours for attending this event.*
About the presenter: Sammie Davis is the Director of Student Success at Holy Family University. In this role, she is responsible for university-wide orientation and retention initiatives, and academic success programs targeting at-promise students. Prior to this role, she served as the Coordinator of Diversity and Student Engagement at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. Sammie holds a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from Centenary University and a master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in Student Affairs from Montclair State University.
