PSNA had the pleasure of collaborating with other Pennsylvania healthcare organizations – including the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, Hospital & Healthsystem Association of PA – and subject matter experts in preparing an educational offering focused on addressing Pennsylvania’s opioid crisis. The final program is divided into four sessions, with each session consisting of four, 15-minute modules. The program covers a variety of tools and resources for prescribers and dispensers to better address opioid addiction with their patients. Session 1 covers opioid prescribing guidelines.
