Event Details

The PSNA Philadelphia Young Nurse Professionals and Temple SNAP are hosting an event on March 25 at Penn Medicine, Pennsylvania Hospital – our nation’s first hospital founded in 1751. All RNs, students, and guests are invited!

Pennsylvania Hospital was founded 25 years before the American Revolution. A philosophy of caring inspired the founders, a group of public-spirited citizens led by Benjamin Franklin and Dr. Thomas Bond. Today that same spirit guides Pennsylvania Hospital through its third century. The Hospital has long been an innovator in patient care, treatment techniques and medical research.

This historic tour highlights: the Gallery Pavilion painting, “Christ Healing the Sick in the Temple” (1817); the Great Court; the Historic Library; and the Surgical Amphitheater. The tour begins at 11:30 am. Lunch and networking run from 12-2 pm.

Special Guests

Betsy M. Snook, PSNA CEO

Dr. Tish Gill, Temple SNAP Faculty Advisor

Galya Kolodner, Temple SNAP President
