The Pennsylvania State Nurses Association (PSNA) will host “Understanding of the Care of the LGBTQI Patient” webinar on May 15 from 3 – 4:30 pm. This activity awards 1.5 CNE. The webinar presenter is Lorraine Bock, DNP, FNP-C, ENP-C, FAANP. Dr. Bock is the health center coordinator at Alder Health Services in Harrisburg. As a national speaker and healthcare provider, she has worked with the LGBTQI community for more than 15 years. Dr. Bock received her NP education at the University of Pennsylvania and earned her doctorate at Robert Morris University, Pittsburgh. She is dually boarded in family and emergency medicine. She is the immediate past president of the PA Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and has worked tirelessly to improve the practice environment for nurses and NPs in PA. Information for the webinar will be sent prior to the event. This education is free to PSNA members / $15 for non-members. The recent emergence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) from the Hubei province in China in late 2019 demonstrates the epidemic potential of coronaviruses.
