PSNA is looking for volunteers to assist at the Lehigh Valley Amputee Support Group Annual Golf Outing. Areas to assist include the PSNA table, breakfast and lunch set up, raffle tickets, 50/50 tickets, delivering things as needed to golfers, announcing and distributing prizes at the end of the outing, and more! According to the National Institute on Aging, elder abuse can happen to anyone—no matter the person’s age, sex, race, religion, or ethnic or cultural background. Each year, hundreds of thousands of adults over the age of 60 are abused, neglected, or financially exploited. This is called elder abuse.
Join PSNA on October 23 for a panel discussion to identify types of abuse, discuss the signs of abuse, address who can help, and more. There is no cost to attend this event.
This event is open to healthcare professionals, students, and the general public.
