Members are invited to self-nominate in this important process by taking a leadership role, working on behalf of the association, and representing PSNA members and nurse colleagues. According to the National Institute on Aging, elder abuse can happen to anyone—no matter the person’s age, sex, race, religion, or ethnic or cultural background. Each year, hundreds of thousands of adults over the age of 60 are abused, neglected, or financially exploited. This is called elder abuse.
Join PSNA on October 23 for a panel discussion to identify types of abuse, discuss the signs of abuse, address who can help, and more. There is no cost to attend this event.
