PSNA Hires Director of Professional Development

 

The Pennsylvania State Nurses Association (PSNA), representing more than 221,000 registered nurses in Pennsylvania, announced that Kelly Stephens, MSN, RN, has been named Director of Professional Development. Stephens will oversee the management of continuing education and program development.

Stephens comes to PSNA after overseeing the utilization management team of PA Health & Wellness. Prior to her management role, Stephens worked as psychiatric nurse, nursing supervisor, and an adjunct faculty member, educating students on psychiatric illnesses, substance abuse, and personality disorders.

In 2017, Stephens earned a Master of Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix. She earned an Associate of Nursing (2001) from Harrisburg Area Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2009) from Elizabethtown College.
