The Pennsylvania State Nurses Association (PSNA), representing more than 228,000 registered nurses in Pennsylvania, announced its 2022 Board of Directors and committee members election results following its September 24, 2021 general business meeting.
Vice President: Jennifer L. Bellot, PhD, RN, MHSA, CNE
Dr. Jennifer Bellot is an associate professor and the associate dean of academic-practice integration at Thomas Jefferson University College of Nursing. Her research and clinical interests include clinical-academic integration, scope of practice, and trauma-informed child advocacy. Dr. Bellot earned her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania (2007), post-master’s certificate in nursing education from LaSalle University (2011), and MHSA (2002) and BSN (2000) from the University of Michigan. Dr. Bellot has served in many roles with PSNA, including member of the Board of Directors (2015-17), chair of the Nominations Committee (2013-2014), and graduate of the 2013-2014 Star Leadership Institute. She has also served as a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA) Nursing Scope and Standards Workgroup (2014-2016). Dr. Bellot has committed to using her leadership experience, diplomatic communication, and history of dedication to the advancement of the nursing profession to advance the professionalism of Pennsylvania nurses via continuing education, pragmatic policy, and empowering advocacy with legislative and organizational partners.
Secretary: Jennifer Graham Partyka, MSN RN
Jennifer Graham Partyka is the manager of the Endoscopy Suite at Geisinger. She earned her MSN in the nurse executive tract at Wilkes University and BSN from the University of Scranton. Partyka has served PSNA as the Vice Chair of the Political Action Committee, Delegate to the ANA National Assembly, member of the Government Relations Committee, and Legislative Ambassador.
Director: Wayne E. Reich, Jr. MSN, MBA, RN
Wayne Reich is the Director of Nursing, Bachelor Programs with Pennsylvania College of Technology. He earned his Master of Science of Nursing in Nursing Administration (2018) and Master of Business Administration (2018) from Bloomsburg University. He also earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2009) and Associate of Science in Nursing (2003) from Pennsylvania College of Technology. Reich has served in many roles with PSNA, including Delegate to the ANA House of Delegates, Treasurer with the Board of Directors, Chair of the Policy Committee, and President of the former PSNA District 27.
